About the Event
Hey UTD students! Join the UTD Real Estate Club as we serve the Plano community by loading vehicles and boxes for families in need of food supplies. This is your chance to gain community service hours, build rapport with those in the Real Estate Club, and overall make a great impact on the Plano community!
At this event, you will engage in contactless interaction with individuals in need by placing food items in the trunk of their vehicle via drive through distribution. You will also be expected to prepare bags filled with fresh produce, dairy items, and frozen items, such as meats and ready-to-eat meals, as well as unload trucks, stock shelves, sort items, prepare boxes, etc.
Every volunteer task and aspect is vital to the ongoing success of Minnie's Food Pantry and ensuring that families in need receive something as simple, yet important as their next meal so please RSVP, and fill out the form that is provided below so that you can load with us Saturday, March 26th, 2022 at 7:45 a.m!
As you complete the form, please make sure to type The Real Estate Club in the organization blank when you register. Minnie's Food Pantry requires this form to be filled out so do not forget!
Lastly, make sure to arrive 15 minutes before so that we can meet as a group and receive instructions about how to complete our volunteer tasks. Come ready with a black t-shirt and closed toe shoes ! We are planning to start loading at 7:45am! We hope to see you there!
